Seems like the 4th place finisher totally 'cut off' Dominguez on the 5th place finisher. That 5th place finisher came roaring late to miss by a diminishing half length for the 4th place money. Was i just dreaming or did the 2 horse completely interfere with the 6 in the stretch?

I'm not sure why Dominguez didn't claim foul, i mean, 4th is a lot bigger purse than 5th. That's a bunch of money left on the table, seems like it would have been a no brainer DQ to me, stewarts just missed it.

The only reason to claim foul would be because of graded stakes earnings and the role they play in getting into the Derby. In this case these horses did not run particularly fast and if you did not finish 1-3 you probably don't belong in the derby anyway. That beyer of basically 100 is not anything to get too excited about.
