Gulfstream cancels 2 races

The 1st & 6th race for 3/21 have been cancelled due to a quarantine at CRC, under the conditions of the quarantine no horse stabled at CRC can leave the grounds. Nearly 1/2 the 118 horses entered in Sundays 10 race card are stabled at CRC. No decision yet as to a card for Wed./Thur.

This happened at the Meadowlands several years ago, they ran the races with reduced fields and everyone was ok with it.

I believe one of the 2 races had 9 of the 11 coming from Calder. Don't see much a point going through with that one, do you?

Hey Karl,Glad to see you,My offer to visit me at the barn still stands...Too bad your such a shy fellow....Lets hope this ban is short as it may mess up the rest of the GP meet for us horseman.Hopefully the test will come back negative and the show is back on

Reports I got today from people that know is the horse tested negative and the ban will be lifted tomorrow
