We have reservations for April 3rd and 4th, but I have been told
there is no horse betting room. Does anyone know?

You have to walk to the original Foxwoods part of the casino. It is a pretty good walk from MGM. One thing you might want to know is they don't carry the New York Racing cards there. Best of luck to you.

they also run shuttle bus service from MGM Grand to the Foxwoods Racebook every ten minutes, if walking a good distance is an issue. In the "Pequot" Tower, there is a "KENO" room that has about 6 TV's for races, along with two Sam machines, one of which usually works! (Note: seldom can you obtain a voucher at the Keno room, so you have to make at least one trip to the racebook to buy a voucher in order to play the ponies there.).
Mohegan Sun Racebook has NYRA, & is also a good hoof to the racebook from the rooms, but at Mohegan all the guest rooms have four or five streaming track video signals, along with TVG in-room!

http://www.foxwoods.com/RaceBook.aspxdo they ever, it was a life saver for me back in 1992 right about when they first opened the place. i had to bet a 2yo race in keenland and there was no place in new england that was simucasting keenland except for foxwoods. it was the first week of april, i bet a horse that was 80-1 on the board when i got to the window, when i left the horse wound up paying $35.00 to win from the impossible 11 post there. the horse won by the length of the stretch. the horses name was HUMDINGER, by a sire called american standard and was trained by at that time a finger lakes trainer by the name of ELIZABETH ZEMP.

the race book manager paid me the money and gave me a coupon for the buffet, i think i have been back there twice since then.
