Undercover Boss Chuchill Downs

I am not sure if anyone has seen this show but this Sunday night March 14, 2010 they are featuring Churchill Downs Coo Bill Carstanjen as he goes under cover at his own racetracks.

Each episode of the show features a senior executive at a major corporation, working incognito as a new entry-level hire in his or her company for one week, to find out how the company really works (including the impact of "corporate policy") and identify some of the unsung heroes among the employees.

The beneficial and all feeling BOSS,. who has no idea what it is like to get dirty, is going to come down here amongst the great unwashed and see what it like so he can make it better.

This isn't Frank Capra no matter how hard they try to portray it the same way.

is this that dumb CBS show?No matter if it's a dumb show or not, this particular episode obviously would be of interest to a great many racing fans here.

We can't get CBS Digital in on our block next to the lake, but I saw some internet preview clips from the debut show with Waste Management. I loved it - what an interesting eye-opener for the exec learning about and trying to fix problems at the employe and basic worker. Also quite an eye-opener to the public/customers, to see what goes on. I know the 5-6 minutes of clips I saw were very good.
