opener the :8: towers over this field with :5: :2: :3: to follow

Only problem is this horse's profile being very late and that is not what wins at Philly, but if this one can adapt it is long gone.

Profile trumps the shipper as 5/8/3 too late, comes down the lane! for a small though easily gettable $74.80

2nd the :4: towers over this field but the difference is that this one is much closer to the energy profile that wins regularly at Philly. :5: :8: :2: will give that one some competition.

:1: is the random one to consider

So far, we seem to be on the same page.

Even coming from different disciplines the same horses often pop out.

I used to talk with many people who had won a race and the variety of capping procedures to arrive at the same choice was remarkable.

3rd a lot of sucker money will land on the :2: This one has been meeting progressively SLOWER paces and them making on late move, not a good sign for a maiden. the :3: has gone up against faster paces routinely but is an in and outer. The other contenders are the :4: and :1: but any one the FTS's could come through as well.

The Guerrero claim (#12) is taking money and looks like the bet to me.

12 with 5,6 and 3 as a huge bomb.

why is it that there is this belief that all claims are going to improve? The animal cannot change that much living in a different barn and one is, in effect, taking an animal another one does not want.

I should have been more clear. I was not basing my selection on the claim but was merely pointing this out.

My selection was based on this runner being about to stalk from the outside post. The price was too low to play to win so that's why I backed up with some prices.

I also agree with you about recent clains. Too many people put too much faith in claims...sure some trainers work magic and some simply couldn't train a dog to sit.
