Some selections for the Sunday night card at MNR. I primarily play exotics so I look at these as contenders:

Race 1....5-9-8-2
Race 2....4-2-7-9
Race 3....7-5-3-2
Race 4....5-9-8-2
Race 5....6-10-2-7
Race 6....2-6-1-10
Race 7....1-4-7-5
Race 8....3-10-5-6
Race 9....9-7-4-2
Race 10..3-6-8-10

Best of luck...

I don't know too many people playing 4 horse exacta boxes.

CJ...I agree. Speed Figure, you are right...I had a poor night handicapping MNR. It is a very challenging track to handicap but the payoffs many times are nice. Unfortunately, last night was not my night. It's happened before...and it'll happen again.;)

Speed Figure,

What's the point of coming and ripping a guy who posted some picks. I don't see any of your picks here in the selections forum? Are you trying to be an ass, or does it just come naturally?

CJ, You should cool down. I'm not ripping anyone. I'm just saying that if you were to make those bets that's what would have happen. I don't know why your so hot.. most of my picks i post on the netcapper site.

JimG is a damn good capper and he doesn't have to prove it over here or anywhere else. I think CJ has a point about posting publicly. There are some good guys in here that do it all the time. I admire them. Jim and some of our buddies at the ES board have had a few 3-4 Thousand dollar profit nights in the chat room at Equisim. You can't keep a good man down and Jim won't be down long. Especially on those tough ass turf races......Go Gettem Jim!

It takes a lot of balls to post picks at MNR. Jim deserves no heat for that.

It's no big deal guys. I've been betting horses for 30 years now and to say I have been chided about my picks before would be an understatement.

If I lacked confidence, I have no business playing the horses. So one bad night or several bad nights is not a big deal. I tend to win only about 1 out of 3 or 4 days when I decide to play the races. That is the nature of the game when playing exotics. I stopped trying to grind out a profit with lower priced "overlays" years ago. I respect you guys that do this, I am just not able to.

Speaking of good players, If you ever get a chance to play the races and kibbitz with Just Ralph, it is alot of fun.
