It's good to see the tea-party is now viewed as more than just an "astroturf" movement by guys like Hcap.

It's now moved into the realm of "they're impactful enough that we must now work at tarnishing them whenever and wherever we can."

And anyone living with a post 1780 mindset is also in fact a commie.

It also explains the colorful fascist Hitleresque comparisons here. Like the nonsense about the Obama Youth Gestapo application form bigmack crowed about. Paranoia galore.

Hate to burst your little bubble (and the operative word here is "little") but I was onto BO long before Beck's chalkboard was a glean even in his eye. Don't believe me? Doesn't my avatar predate his rhetoric?

Just because you let the radical left do your thinking, doesn't mean I can't and don't think for myself.

Although not all characteristics of the chart are shared by every rightie, ( Except the Glen Becks of course ) it does explain the rampant paranoia.

http://www.publiceye.org/tooclose/producerism.html

Calls to rally the virtuous "producing classes" against evil "parasites" at both the top and bottom of society is a tendency called producerism.

It is a conspiracist narrative used by repressive right wing populism.

Today we see examples of it in some sectors of the Christian Right, in the Patriot movements and armed militias, and in the Far right. (see chart of US right).
Producerism is involved in the relationship between Buchanan, Fulani, Perot, and the Reform Party.

Producerism begins in the US with the Jacksonians, who wove together intra-elite factionalism and lower-class
Whites’ double-edged resentments. Producerism became a staple of repressive populist ideology.
Producerism sought to rally the middle strata together with certain sections of the elite.
Specifically, it championed the so-called producing classes (including White farmers, laborers, artisans, slaveowning planters,
and “productive” capitalists) against “unproductive” bankers, speculators, and monopolists above—and people of color below.
After the Jacksonian era, producerism was a central tenet of the anti-Chinese crusade in the late nineteenth century.
In the 1920s industrial philosophy of Henry Ford, and Father Coughlin’s fascist doctrine in the 1930s, producerism fused with antisemitic attacks against “parasitic” Jews.

Here is an example of one of your TeaPartiers using THAT part of the chart.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/02/24/mark-williams-obama_n_475821.html

Tea Party Leader Calls Obama "Half-White Racist"

Last September Mark Williams, a tour partner with the Tea Party Express, referred to President Obama as "our half white, racist president."

In a September email obtained by Talking Points Memo, Williams angrily responded to what he calls a "false allegation" by CNN that he called President Obama a Nazi.
In an apparent attempt to demonstrate he is not racist, Williams claimed to have a strong record on civil rights.
He spoke of "marching for civil rights while asshole southern sheriffs were swinging nail-studded bats at blacks's heads..."

On September 14, 2009, Mark Williams admitted to CNN's Anderson Cooper that he referred to "Mubarak Hussein Obama" as a Nazi:

Your anchors are described to a tee.
Did you pose for pictures when they made the chart?
Box sure did. CJ's dad bitching about his inner city lazy, food stamp conniving folks sure did.

I knew it was stupid when I saw "demonization" and "scapegoating" right at the top. Nobody does that like Libtards; if you're going to play the role of a victim, you have to have victimizers.

Can you provide the quote where Beck supports the Nazi movement? You libs hate Beck because he is doing to Progressives what Limbaugh did to liberals - he's exposing the movement for what it is.

Seriously, you posts sound like something out of the Communist Manifesto.

I find it ironic that a person that uses an avatar with a peace symbol prominently displayed can be so hateful, slanderous, and venemous to those with opposing views in lieu of expressing and supporting his opinions.

While on the subject of "hate mongerin', cap, why do you hate productivity? What is so evil about productivity and productive people who produce wealth?
I'm hard-pressed to understand this since productivity is never mentioned as a sin in the bible. But...the CONTRARY is true. Therefore, those "welfare queens" are all those politicians who support and promulgate the welfare state are probably not standing on high, virtuous ground.

He exposed their agenda to the masses within the US. To the extent that being labeled a 'liberal" in this country is more of a stigma than a badge of honor. Beck is doing the same thing for Progressives. Sure the Democrats won the elections in 08, but how many ran on a "liberal" agenda. The 2008 election was more about the economy than about a shift to liberal ideology. If that were the case, the healthcare bill would have been passed long ago.

Rather dramatic analysis, John. Anybody who has been around here 5 minutes knows that Hcap was just stating the obvious above. The chart or may not explain why people here feel like they do. At any rate, it reminds me of a song:

And J. hannibalsmith, you are not the first here to accuse me of venom :D or slander  . I wear it proudly. I remember being accused of treason for doubting bush's war. Stick around. Maybe I will really get started calling out the hate on your side. If I have time, I would point out ALL the silliness and hypocrisy that is THIS echo chamber. Most of the ranting here is an online version of rightwing talk radio.

The chart is self-explanatory. Most of the replies here-including yours, tends to back it up.

There is a conservative commentator whom I don't often agree with, but if they were all like him there would be some interaction from both sides. Bald head follow on CNN named Rawlins?
