That's great... somehow I managed to read the entire call transcript without losing interest... I guess they (and a lot like them) are lucky that most people bright enough to notice rarely check and the rest of us idiots could never figure it out.

That's awesome Chick. You would figure after going through three or four people someone would catch that.

It's amazing what has happened on the web with customer service. A mistake like this with an internet connection can be national news now.

As an aside, recently a guy went through a problem with United losing his bags and breaking his guitar. He was an amateur musician and wrote a song and did a video about it. It's got 8 almost million hits. PS: Weirdly enough, I usually follow this news but I found out from a different avenue - I played basketball against him in high school and an old friend let me know about the video. Small world.
