Where Is This Track? 1945 Painting

This oil and canvas painting was given to me by a friend from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The date is 1945. I was wondering if someone here might recognize the location of the track.

campfire....I did a Google on this artisit and didn't find anything...too bad the painting isn't named.
The track could be a make beleive track...just something the artist put to canvas. If you notice the jockey's pants, they look to be either European or turn of the Century America.

Nice painting, though.

Take it to the Antiques Road Show the next time it is in your area. The appraisers might be able to help.

Pimlico's paddock is inside and has been as lng as I can remember, and the owner was from Pa. ?? not so far away.
