Over the past few yrs, they've talked about getting a pari-mutuel license. At one pt, I think they were going to race Arabians or quarter horses, not sure what happened - perhaps the downturn in the economy. If you're ever on-site, they do offer wagering on simulcasted races.

i haven't been there in 5 years. do they still charge $$1.00 to walk in the place? and are the doughnuts any better these days?

This made me laugh. I haven't been in 7 or 8 yrs, but I remember the donuts!!! I guess I did pay some modest amount for admission, but it was worth it to get a little A/C. Man does it get hot walking around there looking at horses.
