Going to Oaklawn for the Apple Blossom (Need Advise)

I'm travelling from Chicago to Hot Springs for the big race, and I'm looking for advise/info on Oaklawn/Hot Springs. I'm sure I'm not the only person in that position. How do I get reserved tickets? What tricks should I know? Where should I eat in the area? Any advise appreciated.

Reserved seats are gone. GA will be ok if you don't need a place to sit all day. If you are mobile you can have a great time:) I have reserved seats and won't be anywhere close to them when the race gets close.
