The GUV of California was here to carry the oh-LIMP-PICK torch to the chagrin of many people in the motion picture industry here. He has lobbied to take filming away from the system here and a large vocal minority has tried, in vain, to remind people of that.

Still the goons were out fawning over the fellow this AM.

Out of curiousity - have you always used every negative aspect of the Olympics to support your hatred for the event or is this a recent thing since you have become personally inconvenienced by the games?
