I am having trouble with ie7 updates and was told to upgrade to ie 8....what say you?

I say use Chrome. If you are using IE, you aren't using a bunch of extensions that would lead you to Firefox instead of Chrome (although Chrome more and more Chrome plugins are coming all the time. Even Opera or Safari are better choices than IE for most.

Two words for it. It sucks. Big time. No, really. :rolleyes:

I have to re-set it to get rid of totally black areas and I cannot copy frm a webpage and paste in Word. Have to use FF to do that. IE really un-impressve.

Tom, Did you go from IE6 to IE8 and then back to IE6 again because you didn't like it? If so, how did you get IE6 back again?
I don't like the idea of not being able to copy web pages into Word either.
Never had a problem doing that with IE6.

No problems with IE8 here...no problems with Vista x64 either...maybe I have low expectations...:lol:

No, I went to IE8 and stayed there. I thought my expectations were rather low, too, but IE8 really lowered the bar! :bang:
