Joey B: I am very optimistic about -- about Iraq. I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration. You're going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You're going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government.

Anything bad, Bush's fault.
Anything good, feather in BO's felt cap.

Those people are not capable of governing themselves in the western style. There will be a civil war as soon as we leave and they will end up with another dictator. We should have got the hell out and left Saddam's corpse on the public square. This will just get worse and the liberals will start counting the dead again. Hello Vietnam.

First they tell us that everything on the economy was inherited from a irresponsible prior administration.

Then when the war winds down successfully, despite the well documented wrongheaded advice of both Biden and Obama, this becomes one of their big successes?

are you kidding me? have they no shame?

It's really sad. Libs are incapable of telling the truth. I don't believe there was so much as one liberal democrat in favor of Bush's "surge" strategy. Not one.

Just what did BO do to improve the situation in Iraq so drastically?

Gibbs can outline it for you. It's simple, it has something to do with the political pressure caused by the then candidate obama that facilitated this remarkable turn around helping to fix a bad situation.

(Shortly after this PConference Gibbs was heard saying, I can't believe the shit I shovel out each day

I tried really hard to find a good clip of the aliens from Mars Attacks! speaking in their native tongue to juxtapose next to Gibbs, but then I realized just how entertaining those little green guys are and didn't think it fair to them.

Okay...I got it. So, great political pressure on Iraq stopped the insurgents and terrorists from killing Iraqis and American soldiers. Makes no[n]sense. But whatever floats their boat...

George Bush and Dick Cheney are two examples, there are plenty more.

On the other hand, the current bunch will lie at every moment, and never miss a chance to blame others. It's extraordinary and hard to miss.

Increasing numbers of Americans are outraged and concerned of runaway deficits. If Obama were really serious about restoring America’s economic health, he would demand military spending be cut, have a realistic plan to end the Iraq and Afghan wars, and break up the nation’s five giant money laundering casino banks that now control 40% of all deposits.

But the president won’t, and neither will Congress. They would rather see the nation go over the financial falls rather than change course. This presidential and congressional game playing is the height of public dishonesty.
