Wow. Did the country get turned 180 degrees, and now SoCal is in the NE? Of all times to have to cancel, when lots of other racing has cancelled and many bettors are looking for other tracks to wager on. Reminds me of when NYRA cancells on a Wednesday, and suddenly Beulah handles $3Mil. I wish Hawthorne had started sooner, for Hawthorne's sake.

Turfway cancel probably has more to due with the Conditions in the area more then the track conditions i think people forget how bad it is to drive in the snow and ice so it easier to cancel then subject all the trainers tellers ect to try to get there.

If they are snow covered like the Baltimore area I don't care what the surface is, they aren't running. It doesn't make sense to run a card in those conditions.
