Ted lost his seat in MA.

The Illinois Senate seat formerly held by BO is looking R.

Joey B's son didn't bail for any other reason. R looking strong for victory in MD.

seems like the way it goes is, the repubs get in power, screw things up, then the dems get power, screw things up and on and on and on.

I think the biggest thing to come out the Mass. election was not only a reflection and rejection of BO and company, but that Americans really like having checks and balances and not having one group in power.

I have to agree with Tom, the congress needs to spend money that we do not have. During the Clinton administration The Speaker of the House and his party cut them off at the knee's and the budget was balanced. I think in large part because it could not spend the money, its like a junkie that needs its fix.
