Can someone give a brief explanation of how these figures are determined and what they mean? i.e. what would be comparable to a Beyer of 100? Or can you compare?

Don't waste your time. That nonsense has proven to be complete garbage.

DOSAGE is a joke that no serious horseplayer takes seriously.

Where did you ever get the idiotic idea that those speed figures have any relationship at all to Dosage? The only joke here is that you think you know what you're talking about.

CJ,

Do your stats also show a 15 point difference between Beyers and Time Form at all levels? My personal study I did a few years ago showed that big of a point difference as the time form rating got up into the 125-135 range, as the timeform rating decreased so did the point difference.

Steve R - interesting, thanks

No, I used a sliding scale. Also of note is the DRF "Timeforms" were 14 points lower universally than those published in actual Timeform papers. I have no idea why this was done since that adjustment still didn't put them close to the Beyer scale.
