Ok, here's a question.

Say for some strange reason I partake in the contest and qualify for the NHHC. I'm less than an hour away by car, so I don't need the hotel room. And I definitely don't need to take a flight. So am I totally screwed or will Youbet give me money for tolls and gas?

I won one in Apr 2005 sponsored by Express Bet $500 + hotel + airfare + Entry fee. Called them, told them I was driving and they put an extra $200 in my account.

I studied the BigM program, did my handicapping, drove across Pennsylvania to Hasbrouck Hts, NJ (5 hours), through a bad storm, caught the hotel shuttle to the track.. and they canceled the card, ...drivers voted too dangerous to race. They held the finals using simulcast. I crapped out.

I would think Youbet would do the same.

The youbet site shows the first prize as 50k, but isn't that the total prize pool?

That $50 Grand is the total prize pool for the finals


Participating tracks and ADWs are shown here

You can always "Buy in" to the finals for $400 + $400 bankroll for wagering,
(you get to keep the return on your bets :) )
