You should have read my post! See NFL PICK. I don't bet many football games, but this one jumped out at me as I did not believe the Cowboys were near as good as they were being made out to be. Eagles were sliding bad, Redskins just plain stink and it took a perfect game in a must win situation to beat the Saints (who were also sliding back a bit). Other than that, the Cowboys were just average all year and Minnesota was solid all year.

Yeah, I didn't get all of the Cowboys love. Always overrated. I was wrong about them against the Eagles (who I thought would beat them or least make a better showing) but Romo is NOT a big time QB. I've liked the Saints all year and Minnesota has been solid if not great most of the season so I am looking forward to the game next week.

Being from Texas and Dallas area specifically, I have been a Cowboys fan forever. But, the Eagles scared me all 3 times this year and I had serious doubts before the game yesterday, Minnesota is very tough. Cowboys have some work to do to be as strong as everyone has been touting them.

I think the New Orleans game was a fluke, N.O. wasn't up and Cowboys were.

Very sorry, I stand corrected . It had been a while since I read it, I should read and remember more carefully, including your post in this thread. Nice call.

Outside of the Jets, the other 3 teams in the mix have been the best 3 teams in the league all year long. Rarely works out that way. Vikes/Saints is gonna be a great game.

As for the Cowboys...they have no soul. They lost it when they ran Landry outta town like they did. The made sure they would never find it when they signed Terrell Owens. The same TO who mocked their big blue star at midfield...TWICE. So now the Yoko Romo is playing QB and a sunofabum is their coach. Their owner just had plastic surgery (at that age!?) and their new uber stadium is pure style...but where's the beef, baby?

PS-i did pick Dallas to beat the Vikes, so what the hell do i know, right?

thanks...it's rare that any sports picks of mine come out right, but this one jumped out at me especially after hearing Cowboys hype on the radio and TV for three solid weeks.....seemed like Vikings were a forgotten team.
