10-year-old Maybe Jack was claimed from Edwin Broome in his first start of the year (after closing out last year with mediocre efforts) and won first out for Gill-Shuman .. he then was immediately claimed back by Broome .. for whom he won three races, extending his win streak to four straight going into today's 7th at Monmouth ... heavily favored .. he missed by less than a length!!
