Mel, still using simubet at all? Wondering what sneaky handicapping you are up to nowadays. You always tend to pick a horse or two I have no like for at all............. and they win :)

Dean---Yes still using them. As for "sneaky" ;) I like using "middle half" numbers such as improved position or lengths between 1st and 3rd q's. Also third or fourth start back from a layoff of more than 90 days. You can get some very nice prices with that esp if the first two races back "look bad". Of course I don't aim for a high win %. Anywhere between 16%-17% is just fine with me. There is no doubt a fast last q will many times show that a horse is in shape but I fell those types tend to get overbet.

One needs to look closely at that, sometimes the last q is hidden by the fact that a horse neither gained in lengths back or lost ground thru the stretch.Oft overlooked by public who places too much importance in finish position and beaten lengths

Glad to hear things are going well kid!

I use middle half's quite a bit as well (love seeing a horse hang around off a big move), so we are a posse! I just need to find more winners :)

Keep er going and GL today!

Here's my "start the day off" take-a-chance shot in this stellar field of crackerjack trotters. Race 1 BIG M:

Trifectas:

5/234689/12346789

234689/5/12346789

234689/234689/5

All yours for a measly $114 investment for a $1 ticket.

Thanks botster, and Dean and permenbg and LK and all..

Funny, but my computer program gave me a playlist for races 2 thru 10 and rejected Race 1 as unplayable. After looking at a few races, I decided to post the entire list so I might as well throw in Race 1 for completeness and make it an even C-note. It was a sorry field of trotters so I took a shot with Yannick with a mare with the best LTM and the lowest break %. Just a lucky pick on a race I would not have normally played.

Best of luck to all
