The crank call reminds me of the fun my brothers and I had many years ago when KPBS would have their fund raisers -- live. Call into the donations number, wait for the pick up and speil then say "look at the camera". You'd always be able to tell who at the table of volunteers had your call. It was funny at the time (and, yes, they'd get some of my money).
