Wow, I've had Spinning Sound on my watch list since the August 2008 comeback race. The connections thought highly enough of this horse to ship him across the pond in 2007. Things didn't work out exactly as planned, but he still didn't get disgraced in the G3 DelMar Derby. It's been a downhill journey for this gelding, but the last 2 races show enough promise to back in this one. The fact that Bejarano stays aboard is a huge positive. The main concern is a lack of pace. Brian The Brave appears sharp and should try to go to the front. Will Oscar the Mayor protect his inside position on BTB? Maybe Phantom Strike guns from the inside? I just wish this race was 6.5 furlongs.....
