4th-
#4 Montreal's Best chased a 21 1/5 and 44 4/5 pace, only a length off the lead and still held together fairly well; losing by just under 5 lengths. Her main competition for the lead could be Racing Ruby, who's been off 6 weeks, and Traci Girl, who is a TP specialist.

5th-
I may pass this dreadful M15000 race. There is a couple angles in here, however. Bowman does have an uncoupled entry, and both horses have only lost once. He has a 29% win % in horses 2nd start.

7th-
Considering this is a 5 furlong turf dash, not really as much speed as one would expect. Day should have Justice for Auston near the front. He'll have to beat Bert's Nicky out of the gate; Bert's Nicky is winless in 8 turf starts. Airbourne Command and Rahy's Secret are the stretch running threats.

10th-
$7500-12500 claimers are a very weak level at CD, run considerably slower than par this meet. I think anything in form that ships in has a shot. Red Cielo comes from Prm and had a big Beyer his 2nd start back. Bold Leo could've fit but he scratched out. Marshman could handle the small class rise from 7500 to 10000. I'll key Red Cielo and Marshman 1st and 2nd and 1st and 3rd in trifectas.

Not too bad a day. One of the Bowman trainees did take the lowly M15000 race, and the 2 trifecta keys in the 10th, Marshman and Royal Cielo, ran 1-3. The tri wasn't huge, but it was easy.
