I am relocating to Israel on 12/29. I know that currently there is no organized horse racing there but I was wondering if anyone here knows if it will resurface in the future? Also, I have heard many conflicting reports on the status of legalized wagering on races abroad. Does anyone know where the law stands today?

If anyone on this board lives in Israel and would like to get in touch w/ me send me an email at ashuber [at] gmail [dot] com

You mean there's no Bethlehem Slots and Racetrack? No Tel Aviv Racino?

Looks like they have the seem field sizes that Hollywood has. The only difference seems to be a dirt track :)

Israel and gambling don't mix. Online gambling is banned in Israel, and its parliament has even considered censoring the Internet to prevent access to online casino sites.

The only legal gambling is their lottery. Otherwise, as far as horse betting goes, you might be able to open up an offshore account under the radar, but the government has made it very difficult to fund these type of accounts.

Looks like a front runner bias there.
