Going after both pick 4's and the .50 cent bet makes it much easier to spread and keep the play cheap. Unfortunately today, I don't need to spread much. Here goes.
Race 1- Twenty Five Red is the clear inside speed and has beaten some of these already. Down the road today with the class drop.
Race 2- Cruz Blanca drops and stretches meeting a creaturous field but odds will reflect that.
RAce 3- Warren's Adventure gets much needed class relief and should be able to pick up all of the pieces in a field packed with speed.
Princess Arjumand comes back to dirt of turf tightener and has good speed. Gets first jump.
Watch This Gal is the inside speed and should outlast the other speeds and will be tough if she gets loose.
Race 4- In Ship Shape moves inside and drops in class and will be super tough if left alone.
Big Showdown turn back with a class drop and is finally in a spot where he can compete.
Souvenir Winner is quick enough and classy enough to compete despite wide draw.
Always Remembered will have to do it from off the pace but is certainly competitive at this level.
2/5/1,4,6/2,4,6,7. For 50 cents, that's a $6 play.
And people go to Wal Mart for bargains.
Race 6- U City High- goes first off the claim for solid barn and will find it difficult to find an easier spot.
Big Bad Cat also goes for new barn and inside draw in tremendous. The one to beat with an alert break.
Race 7- Chullo's Ariana could get loose at a big price and may last a long time.
Towson is a sprinting closer who stretches for the first time and draws well inside.
Maggie's Drawers adds blinkers and is usually right there but tough to take at a short price. A use in pick 4's only.
Race 8- Honest Earnie draws the rail with good early speed and meets a brutal field.
Secret Lure goes out for always overbet barn and has yet to win on a fast track. A player at a hideous price.
Keytothestorm had big trouble in last. Draws wide here but could get a dream trip if something hooks up with Earnie.
Race 9- No strong opinion here bit give a good shot to Vulnerable a professional maiden albeit with excuses. Now or never.
