And I can't find anything on CNN that claims Tiger is on "the juice."

Some Doc that Tiger may have seen is being investigated...maybe that's what you mean.

Lots of guys can drive the ball a mile and hit long iron shots. What makes a golfer great is the short chip game and the ability to putt. The old adage "you drive for show and putt for dough" is very true.

For most people I agree. Indeed Tiger is a great putter.

But his record on par 5's sets him apart from the pack. This is especially true at the Masters.

What a sad outcome it would be If Tiger took steroids. The scandal sheets will turn over every rock to find proof. Tigers every breathing moment is under scrutiny.

The Dr. Galea connection adds to the feeding frenzy.

I attended the Milwaukee Open [Brown Deer Co. Club] in Tiger's 1st tournament as a professional and followed him throughout his 1st round. He started on the 10th hole, which was marked off in 10 yard increments to measure driving distance. His drive stopped just passed the 350 yd. marker. He was a wiry young man then, can't imagine his waist size was much larger28-30 inches, and his shoulder girth no larger.

if Tiger uses steroids, he does a good job of using small amounts and not blatantly showing dramatic results. The body changes and physique he has attained are realistic results of good training and diet.

Worst case Tiger ends up with half of what he had and his endorsements are gone. If his management did their job in looking after his finances then big deal, I'd trade places with him any day ;)

The main problem is that Tiger Woods has presented himself as a product
squeeky clean. An "angel."

In my opinion, he set the brick road for the present American President.
No Tiger Woods, no Barack Obama.

Babe Ruth, never pretended to be an "Angel."

Wilt, the stilt, never pretended to be an "Angel."

In golf, John Daly, never pretended to be an "Angel."

I personally believe, the Tiger Woods, was highly influential in the
American Public choosing Barack Obama.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I hope it's not true too. Tiger's behavior has already made a dark mark on his marketability. If it is found he has done steroids the biggest effect will be on the integrity of his record as a professional golfer.

(I can't believe Tiger played a major role in getting Obama elected!)

I don't find it hard to believe at all. Anybody who based their vote on what Tiger Woods, or any other celebrity has to say, doesn't deserve a vote.

Tiger Woods was selected Wednesday as Athlete of the Decade by U.S. sports editors, a result that reflects 10 years of greatness on the golf course rather than three weeks of headlines about a shocking sex scandal.
Woods received 56 of the 142 votes cast by Associated Press member newspaper editors since last month. More than half of the ballots were returned after the Nov. 27 car accident outside his Florida home that set off sensational tales of infidelity.

Just like so many of his victories, it wasn’t much of a contest.

(I can't believe Tiger played a major role in getting Obama elected!)

When I said Tiger played a major role in getting Obama elected, I didn't mean that in the literal sense. What I meant was that our increasing acceptance of blacks in sports ultimately led to the acceptance that they could compete in other arenas as well.

Let me offer a very simple theory.

Jackie Robinson broke the color bar in baseball in 1947.
White tolerance for Blacks in specialty areas increased.
Even as late as 1975, Blacks weren't totally welcome at golf.
Then Lee Elder broke through and became the first black man to play in "The Masters." In doing so he received death threats.
When Tiger Woods came along, he became a "sports legend."
Indeed, many of us idolized the way he plays the game.
It is just a short step of the mind to believe that if a black man could do well in the sports arena, he could do well in the political arena.

Sports enabled us to become more open, tolerant, less defensive, and accepting.

I say Barack Obama could never have been elected without the history of sports that preceded him. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I have to agree with the FOX. For the last 20 years I've been buying a paper everyday and throwing away everything but the sports section. When asked why I just say that this section will tell me what is going on in the world and what could happen if you read deep enough.

There have been thousands of successful, popular black athletes before Tiger Woods. The Obama vote was more of an anti-Bush vote than anything (yes, I realize it was McCain who ran, but many viewed McCain as being Bush simply because he was Republican).

Here's a quote from the article by one of the voters: “No athlete dominated a particular sport the way Tiger Woods did this decade,” said Phil Kaplan, deputy sports editor at the Knoxille (Tenn.) News-Sentinel.

This guy is living proof of why he shouldn't be voting...from a pure percentage standpoint, he is dead wrong.

Woods: 12/40 majors = 30% wins
Lance Armstrong: 6/10 = 60%
Roger Federer: 15/40 = 37%

Hell, the New England Patriots won 3 of 10 Super Bowls this decade, so any member of those teams could be considered on even terms with Woods. They should have named it "US Athlete We Loved to Love" award.

I had always been a great fan and admirerer of "Mr squeaky clean"....But not anymore....

Great enough "golfer", for sure (perhaps the best ever), but a failure as a person and not to be trusted any longer, imo....Anyone that would undermind the trust of a spouse, is a person not to be trusted any longer...

Hey, if you don't want to be with your "honey", just be a man and say so, and move on like a real man should....

I now consider him in the same light as Obama, a liar and a fraud...And, your "caddy" didn't know either...haha...

Goodbye Tiger, it was "great" for awhile, but who needs you now ?... Not I...You had me fooled...

best,
