Thanks for the kind words.

The trainer had a couple of stats with +ROI's that indicated pro-active positive intent including dirt-to-turf and up-in-class.

The price was definitely a factor including making it a prime bet for me.

I had two bucks on it. If it hadn't been a prime bet, I would have bet $1 to win on the horse.

I'm practicing for the HPWS in Feb 2010. Back in late October or early November thru HPQualify.com, I won entry into the 2010 HWPS or the equivalent of a check for $1,000. I took the check and bought my own entry into the 2010 HWPS at the Orleans casino.

Best,

David Fawkes is one of the trainers I keep an eye on. At CRC this year, he has 30.30% wins on the TURF, with 187.27% ROI(before this race), he has a 38.46% win rate when going from DIRT to TURF, for a 516.15% ROI(before this race), an IF that wasn't enough to make you drool, he has a measly 31.58% win rate when going up in class, for a paltry 41.05% ROI. It pays to keep tabs on the trainers.

Nice catch Bill.
