Yes, he still very good. But the 15 pounds he put on in the offseason for more power has probably slowed him a step or two. Still very good, but not Chris Johnson breakaway-level.

In any event, he got pulled over for going 110 in suburban Minny. His defense? He didn't know he was speeding. What was even more sickening, however, was the hero-worshipping apologists, exposing their room temperature IQs. My favorites: "in these high powered sports cars of today, the engine doesn't feel any different at 70 than it does at 110." OK, whether thats true or not, is debateable. How about using your eyes? If I'm going 110 MPH, I should be able to see I'm flying by everything else like a rocket ship. Anyone who can't make that distinction visually is either blind or just brain dead. The other defense? "I can't believe he got a ticket in the state of Minnesota". At that speed, you are putting others at risk. From what I've heard in some states, they will impound the car for a violation that much over the limit. The hero worship in this country is sickening.

I've had three tickets 25 mph or over..One was in North Carolina..90 in a 65. Signed ticket and was on my way..The second one was close to home..92 in a 55 mph zone..Had to go to court for that one..Total fine was under 100 bucks..I couldn't believe it..Now that was over 15 years ago. The 3rd one was in Georgia..88 in a 60 mph zone. The Statee told me to get out of the car. I think he was trying to scare me a little. I have two unpaid tickets in two states on the way to Florida. They aren't linked with Ohio. It's been over 15 years and haven't received anything in the mail. Now if I got pulled over those states again, it might be another story. Record is clean and has been for over 5 years..

This guy won't have a happy ending in life. He's been super protected from HS on, even by athlete-standards. An Erik Williams type of car crash is wtg for him, or worse.

The Minnesota Vikings (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=min)' offense doesn't just burn defenders -- it burns rubber.

Two days after star running back Adrian Peterson (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=10452) was cited for driving 109 mph in a 55 mph zone, his teammate, wide receiver Bernard Berrian (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5603), was ticketed for topping the century mark on an area interstate.

Minnesota authorities say Berrian was driving 104 mph in a 60-mph zone.
