I was at Aqueduct yesterday. The grandstand is still open just as much as it has been since they tried to install the slot machines. There's a handful of mutuel clerks open, plenty of SAM machines, Sbarro's and Nathan's, plenty of tv's to watch the out of town action. There's enough places to sit and the track apron is available. The crowd was about 50/50 heckling/cheering Mike Smith in the paddock. I lament the departure of the classy horses and welcome the N1X group.

Yes you are right,on some weekends(like Thanksgiving) they open it,BUT I will post pics of the apron closed off and grandstand closed off during weekdays. They CLOSE it off during the week. This is old. If you need to be sure and don't believe it,go call Aqueduct.
You're right there is mutuel clerks,tv's,Nathans,etc because the clubhouse is open. None of those tv's,Nathans,Sabarros,etc are in the Grandstand. Those are all in the clubhouse.
