Whatever happen to the nasal strip?

Last night i was looking over old PPS and i found a few horses with NASAL STRIP either on or OFF.I remember Cat Thief winning the classic with the nasal strip on,what ever happen to it?Athletes once used them too.

I use the night time ones for colds when I'm stuffy.
You never see the indicator anymore in the PPs.....?

I remember for the longest time Hollywood park would always report if the horse had a nasal strip. I believe it was usually seen on the TV while the horses were being saddled in the paddock. Seems the last few years, very few horses were racing with them, not sure if Hollywood park still reports it on the TV or not.

I think I heard that some tracks are not reporting them.

Well I am still wearing those nasal strip, they are really helpful in my current job ...
