I've seen a lot of negativity regarding Off Track and live Track betting.

Wondering about the Vegas Books?

Are they holding up under the economy and increase in competition?

They're hanging in there. They are a bit slow during the week, but are busy on the weekends. John Avello, Director of the Wynn Las Vegas book, was on the entire hour with Ralph Siraco on the Tuesday, November 24 Race Talk Las Vegas show. He talked about your very question. The show is archived at racedaylasvegas.com if you want to hear what he had to say.

ok , thanks, i appreciate that.

I'll most likely move back to Vegas, soon, maybe near Rio/Palms , Sam'stown or Boulder Sta. areas.

Avella, Siraco should be of interest.

Gotta love Ralph, but I don't know what you mean by "the increase in competition" ... .

Welp. in otherwords, they built and modernized and extended facilities, since they have been building over the past 20 years and the economy subsides, welp... it used to be the Hilton and the Dust.
