PRESIDENT OBAMA was too busy to attend the celebrations in Germany this week marking the fall of the Berlin Wall 20 years ago. But he did appear by video, delivering a few brief and bloodless remarks about how the wall was “a painful barrier between family and friends’’ that symbolized “a system that denied people the freedoms that should be the right of every human being.’’ He referred to “tyranny,’’ but never identified the tyrants - he never uttered the words “Soviet Union’’ or “communism,’’ for example. He said nothing about the men and women who died trying to cross the wall. Nor did he mention Harry Truman or Ronald Reagan - or even Mikhail Gorbachev.

He did, however, talk about Barack Obama.

“Few would have foreseen,’’ declared the president, “that a united Germany would be led by a woman from [the former East German state of] Brandenburg or that their American ally would be led by a man of African descent. But human destiny is what human beings make of it.’’

From the minute this president stepped into the White House he should have concentrated on job creation. The elites are laughing their asses off at us ---these Masters of the Universe say the great recession is over. Most of these con men who took the economy down are sitting in their leather chairs still wheeling and dealing and making bets in an unregulated casino market of smoke and mirrors financial products while millions of unemployed Americans pay the price for their irresponsible actions. These financial vultures have picked ordinary Americans dry, we can only hope they will now turn on themselves in a orgy that consumes themselves. Perhaps it is time that we ship your jobs overseas, cut your wages, regulate the crap out of you, shred your safety nets of golden parachutes, stock options, and employment contracts containing bonuses without regard to performance.

Obama is just a lackey for Wall Street,for the bought and sold politicians and left in the dust the core supporters who elected him. Construction and manufacturing workers, blue collar, young, old , black, white, Hispanic--they are all starting to get it---this president is creating an absolute and utter disaster. This country is leaderless and all the hype about "CHANGE" is true ---change for the worst.

Obama still thinks he is campaigning for the presidency. Hey, you won, now man up and get your ass to work, get off the fence and make some decisions. Stop keeping things vague, subject to multiple interpretations, your credibility is wanting. Fight for something, anything ---you are a major disappointment.

Many of us on this forum knew who and what he was a year and a half ago during the primaries,and just what he would do if elected.Not many would foresee just how huge a disaster his administration would be in just its first year.The bright spot is that he and most of his fellow Bolsheviks will be swept from office in 2010 and 2012.The bad part is that it could take many years,if not decades,to undo the damage after he leaves office in January 2013.
