I have been handicapping and following racing for over 50 yrs, and it never fails to amaze me how biased the Eastern players are.

Before we had the synthetics in California, it was Who want's to run on those speed strips, their like concrete.

All you Churchill, Belmont, and Monmouth lovers, it is really fair racing to have the Breeders cup in those bogs you have in November and the end of October.
That makes for really great racing, muddy tracks and yielding or soft Turf courses and all that B.S. about how fast those tracks dry out is just that B.S.
If a track is subject to days of rain there is still moisture there no matter what the track officials want you to believe.

In 2008 Zenyatta was undefeated and won the Lady's classic.
In 2009 Zenyatta was undefeated and won the Classic.
Her record speaks for itself. She also won the Apple Blossom on dirt so the excuse that she was a synthetic specialist only doesn't hold water. She deserves Horse of Year and to go down as the greatest Mare we have seen.

Jackson wanted to run and hide. If you look at her past performances Rachel won at Keeneland. Let me see the last time I looked that was a SYNTHETIC surface.

Your show up on Championship day or shut up!

so the argument that she couldn't handle the surface is bogus.
