It doesn't take any longer to call out or punch a dime super than it does for one of a higher amount, and the repeat button prevents significant delays when one wants to play more. If last year's on-track attendance is any indication, I doubt that there will be any real need to play early.

What will be most interesting is next year's Cup. Churchill Downs has refused to heed the pleas of fans and offer dime supers for Derby and Oaks days. Will they be obstinate about the BC, too, or will they be forced to offer these?

Doesn't Churchill allow dime supers on Derby day as long as you self punch them in a tote machine. I thought they just did not have the tellers do it for you?

No, CD obstinately refuses to offer dime supers on Derby or Oaks days. As a result, you can't even play them through ADWs.
