Trying to find some info on the Euros, but Racing Post and Timeform seem pretty lean on useful race info. The results are hardly more than a cheap newspaper version. I know they ignore splits and running line,s but don't they even have a commentary - they only stuff I found on TF was more like a society page of gobbledy gook.

Is there anywhere to get actual racing stuff?

On racingpost.com, enter a horse's name in the search box and then click on it when it shows up. It will list that horse's lifetime record. From there, click on the date on the left side and it will display the results of that race. When you scroll your cursor over various fields, if it turns into a pointing hand there is more information when you click. Here are the comments for Goldikova's last race:
Raced in close 2nd behind scorching pace, led over 2 1/2f out, 1 1/2 lengths clear going well 1 1/2f out, ridden over 1f out, headed 50yds out
It's a great research tool as you click on any of the others in the field and check their records and the pedigree information is the best. This is her pedigree information:
Sire: Anabaa (USA) (http://www.racingpost.com/stallions/stallion_home.sd?horse_id=96075) (8.1f) Dam: Born Gold (USA) (http://www.racingpost.com/bloodstock/dam_home.sd?horse_id=504852) Dam's sire: Blushing Groom (FR ) (http://www.racingpost.com/stallions/stallion_home.sd?horse_id=303373) (10.5f)

9th foal, half-sister to Gold Round, high-class 7-10f winner at 2-3, Gold Sound, very smart 9-10f winner at 2-3, Demonious, multiple 11-15f winner at 4-8, & 1m winners Born Something (at 2) and Red Tune (at 3); dam winning sister to top miler Gold Splash

Planet F1.com is where I obtained the pp's for the Arc.
It opens up to the Formula 1 page ,put type on the search and it will
bring you to the Euro race searches to choose from.

When you get to the f1 race page and go to the races listed , clicking on any horses name opens up the pp. It's differebt than drf or bris but it's about all their is.

Actually just google sporting life.com horserace and it will get you to the page described and
pick one of the racecards to the right of the page. Easier!

Time Form has a Breeder's Cup review that my friend and Doncaster bookie is forwarding when it is available. I will put some up when it arrives.
It pays to know the pecking order over there AND know which courses run this way and that (uphill stretch or WIDE stretch)

Global Racing is a good guide to the tracks over there.
I'm studying it now, with the charts in hand as of tonight!

The Racing Post is quite a good source imo. They lack sectional times, but they definitely have a lot of free information.

Apart from the already mentioned horse lookup function, you can also browse through the results. Click on the horse name for form/pedigree information. Hover over 'Outcome' to see the in-race commentary.

For example http://www.racingpost.com/horses2/results/home.sd?r_date=2008-10-25

Their programs are more in depth, Their trainers give HONEST appraisals, their are NO DRUGS to try and differentiate, their STYLE is predictable.........BUT without pace times there is much subjectivity in their selections.

I was blown away with just how much racing went on over each weekend when I was in England last March/April
