The Jets are under NFL scrutiny for tampering (?) with SF 49ers draft pick Michael Crabtree.

Yesterday it is reported that the Jets trade for Braylon Edwards and at relatively the same time the SF 49ers sign Michael Crabtree to a contract.

Coincidence or what ??

Something smells IMO.

Cleveland said that they have had protracted negotiations for Edwards. The trade was not about Crabtree but about Mangiini wanting to get rid of Edwards after beating up a friend of Lebron James after a game on Sunday night. He finally got fed up with yet another Diva wide receiver in the NFL. The Jets have been dying for a WR and even considerred Plaxico before the sentencing. Maybe Ryan can beat Edwards into place.
