African bishops attending a Vatican meeting are speaking about the election of Barack Obama in divine terms -- putting them very much at odds with many of their U.S. counterparts.
Archbishop Gabriel Charles Palmer-Buckle of Accra, Ghana said Wednesday that there was "a divine plan behind" Obama's election.
"It's like the biblical story repeating itself," he told reporters, citing the Old Testament figure Joseph, who after being sold into slavery in Egypt ends up becoming a top official.

I must have missed that part of BO's biography. Just when was he sold into slavery? But, perhaps, the even more important question is who would be stupid enough to pay money for this moron?

With a critical comparison to the totally incompetent war monger, business oriented, and "I don't give a damn for anyone" previous prez and of course he looks like a blessed incarnation.

Yes, we've all looked to the bishop of Ghana for the definitive word on world affairs, haven't we? I hear he also discovered "Ghana-rrhea". And named the highest mountain in his country "Ghanataka Peak". :D

Then maybe you would surely trust in Don King....
Obama’s Presidency Is in God’s Plan, Don King Says
Monday, February 16, 2009
By Nicholas Ballasy, Video Reporter
(CNSNews.com) - Professional boxing promoter Don King told CNSNews.com that Barack Obama’s election to the presidency is part of God’s plan and that America is the greatest country in the world.
“You got to recognize and appreciate [Obama] being the first American to be elected that happens to be black, rather than the first black American. All 44 [presidents] been Americans, so that’s unanimous,” said King. “So, the 44th will be an American named Barack Obama who incidentally happens to be black.”
“So, look at the fervor. Look at the excitement. Look at how many of them be – all 43 of them, you know what I mean? The least of them -- that’s what God said, what Jesus said. You know, the least of them were leaders,” said King. “ ... So you’ve got to be able to understand that God’s in this plan, ‘cause it would have never happened.”
King endorsed Democrat Barack Obama for president in 2008 and told CNSNews.com at the "Hip Hop Summit" inaugural ball that he sees a spiritual connection to Obama’s election as president.
“Absolutely, everything we do in America has that religious fervor to it,” said King, “and when we lost our way, that’s when everybody started to cry, ‘Yankee imperialist, Yankee bully’ – all of the those types of things around the world, and I’ve traveled the world so I know. So, now it’s a healing process and a hope process that’s in action right now that is unincredible – unparallel in mankind.

I actually agree with Don King. All leaders fit into GOD's plan. The question is what is the lesson we need to learn or the purpose Obama needs to fulfill?
The lesson could be as simple as, see what happens when you let a fool lead you, or his failings may pave the way for the people to embrace a strong decisive leader in the next election, instead of a nuanced one like now.
Many positives are possible from Obama's presidency. For example after the Jimmy Carter fiasco look how atrong our country became.
All leaders fit into GOD's plan. The question is what is the lesson we need to learn or the purpose Obama needs to fulfill?

The lesson I learned was the prior President kept U.S. homeland soil free from foreign attack after 9/11, rid the world of an evil tyrant, freed a tortured and oppressed society, freed Arabic women from oppression, etc.
I guess it depends on your perspective of fool. So far Obama has done nothing except look foolish, even Comedy Central's Jon Stewart agrees with that assessment.
One liners are humorous, but they lack the punch when there is no truth to them.
