Unless you hate hate hate your current version I wouldn't be in any hurry. There are usually lots of issues in the first 6 months or so...and some that never go away...

I tend to agree with GT, but I'll be getting it and running it on a development machine to test it. I played with it during beta and liked it much better than vista. It seems to not me as much of a resource hog, and anything is better than vista, lol. Also, you get both the 32 and 64 bit versions and can install either. I've been running 32 bit vista but plan on trying the 64 bit Windows 7.

My computer went on the fritz.
The technician who fixed it in July said that the New Windows was being tested extensively and the feedback on it was very very good. He said that it would be out after Oct 18 or so.
