Actually,I think it makes sense. There is normally a larger pool in the Tri than the Super, and it looks like only 1 ticket took down each pool.
I think?

Last nite, I watched that raced live....and the track announcer said that no one had the 7/3/2 combo for the tri....so, the payout will be for "ANY", meaning that any combo of 7 and3, and and other 7-3-? number could collect, regardles of what number it may have been....I take that to mean, that "any" means that no one had the 7-3-2 and the pool was collected by a person who had 7-3 with some other number, what ever that 3d number may have been....It was just reported as 7/3/2 tri

The payout, is what is remarkable about this aberration....it paid more than the super....way more...

TTRAC is right

Makes it easy to calculate the Take out Percent

$2 trifecta "Paid" more than the pool so there was only 1 Winning $1 ticket paying $1560

(2113-1560)/2113= 26.2 % takeout

In the Superfecta, there was a single 2$ ticket or (two 1$ tickets)

(1626-1204)/1626= 26.0 % takeout

LK,
That's my point.

Only 1 tri tik sold on 7-3-?.
Pool size=$2113 b4 takeout-$1560 after?
$2 p/o=$3120.
So a single $1 tik was sold.

Only 1 sup tik sold on 7-3-2-?
Pool size=$1626 b4 takeout-$1204 after?
$1 p/o=$1204.
Ditto!

I think I'm correct?

You're right, it makes perfect sense. There was one winning $1 superfecta ticket and one winning $1 triactor ticket. Because the triactor pool was larger than the superfecta pool, the tri paid more.

In the Superfecta, there was a single 2$ ticket or (two 1$ tickets)
There was a single $1 ticket on the superfecta. Superfecta payouts on the Standardbred Canada charts for Fraser are for $1. Triactor payouts listed are for $2. It would be nice if they would list the denominations of the bets on the charts.

Thx Showbet, I didn't catch that.

The USTA has a similar problem with the exotic payoffs in their charts for USA tracks,
with a few tracks reporting to the dollar (CALX for one) and others to the 2$ base.

I don't think the USTA is even aware of it.

I don't think the USTA is even aware of it.

I doubt that anybody is responsible as part of their job duties at the USTA to verify the data.

each racetracks pays the USTA multiple fees. One of the fees is for the software and the network connection which allows the tracks to enter the data for entries, results, draws and much more, directly into the network database.
From their the data is manipulated by another software into the results we see.
