How many can run on a home router at a time? 3-4? 1 is wired the rest will be wireless........

Normally home routers have a 4-port switch built in so that's four "wired" computers. You obviously don't need a port for wireless so unless there is some other restriction you could have 253 total devices besides the router, the limit of a Class C IP network. There is probably a practical limit way lower than that if you consider bandwidth issues.

You can limit how many by assigning how many IP addresses to dole out in the router setup. Good Idea to always allow only what you need.......so the guy in your driveway or driving down the street can't log in............

Don't use "WEP" security, which may be the default. Can be cracked by the guy in your driveway in a couple of minutes...
