Is it me or is anyone else suspicious of 10/01/09 ,races 1-3 at Santa Anita.I don't even look at SA but with the scarcity of play back east I have been sniffing the plastic track. I look at results at the first pick 3 and the payoffs smell. A $2 payout comes back $180.60,now if you do your own 3 race parlay you would get back more like $500.00 smacks hmmmmmm is my math bad or doesn't sumtin stink. PU.

p.s there is a funny handicapping trick occurring in all 3 races can you pick it out.

The great thing about this scenario is that you have the ability to compare pick 3 probables to the win prices in race 3. If you see that a 7 or 8-1 shot is coming back 239, you can take advantage of that 'overlaid' win price.

When people complain about low prices they are just assuming that the win place and show pools are efficient. Maybe its the reverse, maybe the pick 3 price is accurate and the win prices are just overlaid. You can look at this from two different perspectives.
