Picks for Belmont Saturday:
R1 #10 Dressmaker - Very consistent runner catches a field she should be able to handle. She has shown the ability to win without the lead so a stalking trip should set her up well here.
R2 #4 Flying Valentine - Barn does exceptionally well with FTS on the turf. This one has decent breeding for the sod and gets Velazquez.
R3 #5 Future Prospect - A tough one to go against. Expect odds on here.
R4 #6 Recruit - Caught a sloppy dirt surface in debut. Moves to a surface that he should relish today and has a nice drill since that forgettable race.
R5 #2 Sensationalist - Dutrow FTS don't usually get slammed at the windows. This one shows a nice drill a few days ago, and will probably make an impact sometime in this heat.
R6 #6 Yankee Empire - Returns to the scene of his only lifetime win. Has some nice drills since last effort at the Spa. A decent trip should put him in the mix
R7 #9 Golden Guska - Has yet to run a bad one on the turf. Last jock to win with him returns today. Barn is doing well right now
R8 #2 City Sneakers - Looks like he should be able to establish a clear lead here and ran well stretching out 2 back. Have him to catch, should be a decent price.
R9 #2 Indian Blessing - Haven't written her off just yet. I think she'll strut her stuff here today.
R10 #2 Meese Rocks - Should be able to clear early again here. Cross your fingers around the 1/8 pole.
