Feds give $4500-$5300 tax credit on electric cars. Street legal golf cars qualify. Many start around $6k. You can step into one for under $1k!
Bush signed this into effect. Sales must be by end of year. Some states like Oklahoma give even more credit.
As long as you putter around any street with a max speed limit of 35MPH you're good to go.
