TOM OH- Software selections aren't normally the best way to select horses. They are biased to input data, and will not produce winners all that CONSISTENT. If you use software, great for you, but you should still look the race over anyways, just to see what YOU personally like also....


Ray uses software everyday, but also looks the races over to come up with his longshots, and he does VERY well. Not leaning 1 way or the other in this situation, just giving my 2 cents. Good Luck tonight guys.

This is a point in where I can't say either way that guys who soley crunch numbers with software can't AND AREN'T WINNING.

I have only witnessed first hand, two persons in the harness game who were winners betting.The one friend I knew I would watch him wager, and better yet LISTEN TO HIS ALMOST ABSURD reasoning behind his conclusions of his selections.The fact remains that he was a winner for almost 15 years until the time I had lost contact with him.

Now, if someone wants to come along and tell me "he worships the god of the equine, and has first hand information on who the winner of the first race is going to be tonight at Mohawk"...I will surely give him the benefit of the doubt and see if he can prove himself.

If Tom elects to actually DO WORK and start looking at programs and replays, that may do him more bad than good.When I posted DO WORK I meant it as encouragement to win.After what I had seen my friend do in beating this game, I am a firm believer that anybody has a chance to win, no matter how they approach the game.
