Texas gets an unsportsmanlike call against them , the ball is moved half the distance to the goal , 1st and 10 Wyoming . Wyoming runs a play and the referees announce that in fact the unsportsmanlike call shouldn't have been an automatic first down after all , so now it's 3rd down , not 2nd . Now I'm a huge UT fan , but that has to be one of the biggest bullshit calls I've seen in a long time . I've always assumed that when a play was run , that was it , no going back . I remember years ago Missouri got screwed when the opposing team was given 5 downs , but they didn't go back and change anything . I can't remember who they were playing except that they were the #1 team in the nation .
