12:06 pm, Saturday.
Only 6 tracks have scratches posted.
Belmont had them on the NYRA site a while ago, EB still lagging.
Anyone there not related to the boss and actually show up to work?
Doubtful.

BRIS only has 3 up!
Really bending over backwards to serve the game.

Does any other industry have as many useless flunkies in it as horse racing does?

The newspaper business has as many flunkies. They are just as present at their demise as much of the racing industry.

Tom,

Equibase is not responsible for reporting scratches and inputting them into the Equibase system - personnel at the track have that responsibility. Equibase provides the back end database infrastructure for all this information but what Equibase reports on their web site (and what we report after them) is solely a function of what employees at the track input into the system and when they do it.

A sense of urgency reporting scratches to Equibase computers is not always evident.

So I should put my play only on tracks that have scratches up before noon.
Sounds like a great idea to me.

I was right about the nephews, just wrong employer.

But my last question is still valid.
