Jug Favorite OUT???

Pool 1 at 5/2 favorite may very well bail....heats and 1/2 not favorable according to connections.......Duckin or greed??

For the most part it is greed. Heaven forbid the horse lose on a half mile oval. What will happen to the syndication value. There is a little ducking. They remember the last time he didn't take time off (the Adios) and they don't want it to happen again.

The main reason I love harness racing is the fact that the horses run, and they run all of the time. Even the big horses, like Well Said, generally run very often, like tonight at Mohawk, less than 2 weeks before the Little Brown Jug (if that is a concern).

But, anymore, the connections are just ducking right and left. Can you imagine how awesome the Jug would have been last year if Somebeachsomehere would have been there? It was a great series of races, and would have been amazing if the big guy was there.

Glad to hear that both Well Said and Cane Pace winner Vintage Master are both headed to the Jug.
