According to an article in the Washington Times by Rowan Scarborough, 57 year old Army General Tommy Franks is planning on retiring. The General, who helped plan the Afghanistan and Iraq campaigns, has been in the Army for 36 years. I salute the tremendous service of this great American to his country.
