I'm not sure of who I'm going to play in that Late Pick-4... I know I'm playing Rachel Alexandra FOR SURE in the 10th, but other than that... My ticket is just blank for now...

What are you guys playing, and why?

I'm singling Kodiak Kowboy, using Macho Again with Rachel in the Woodward, and spreading very wide in the other two.

Kodiak Kowboy is my main bet-against, and not just because I've always found him overrated. I admit that in his Grade I win over Fabulous Strike he stepped up (FINALLY :rolleyes: )to take advantage of the race shape, and I know that Beyer thinks his race against the bias last time makes him a stickout, but he will be well under 2/1, I think, and even if you love him, he won't pay jack booty crap with Rachel Alexandra.

I hate to risk jinxing (jinctating ?) Andy Serling, but I like almost exactly what he likes in the late pick-four:

9) Peace Chant and My Pal Charlie (I also give Pyro a backup shot);

10) It's a Bird;

11) Kinsella;

12) :1: , the 3/1 fave whose name escapes me.

In order to use Rachel in the 10th, I will use Driven By Success's latest conqueror, Law Enforcement, and True Quality -- yet another rival of Fabulous Strike and allegedly breezing quickly in Queens -- in the 9th; then try to get out of town with the Highway Patrol exacta (10-4) refugees of the statebred stakes in the 11th, followed by anything that ever showed life on grass in the 12th.

:9: ,:11: //:3: //:4: ,:10: //:1: ,:1a: ,:2: ,:5: ,:9: ,:10: ,:14:

I will also bet a 2-4 EXB saver in the 10th in case Mr. Borel encounters unforeseen obstacles. ;)

If :11: ,Kinsella wins, the $18 omission will loom large. :eek: .

Here's hoping my :11: hits a roadblock. :ThmbUp:
